Ben Spies-Yamaha

MotoGP 2011 season had just finished his last series in the circuit Ricardo Tormo, Valencia. As world champion 2011 season, Casey Stoner managed to become champion in this last series. Stoner in MotoGP Valencia, victory was obtained at the finish line, having previously managed to pass Ben Spies.

At the start of the race at Valencia MotoGP series, beginning with an error of Alvaro Bautista after the start. Rizla Suzuki rider was slipped in the middle of the track and then place a chain effect, until the bike of Bautista hit Motorcycle of Valentino Rossi, Randy de Puniet and Nicky Hayden. The four drivers are fine, but they could not continue the race. The crash has also upset Valentino Rossi.

In the front row, Casey Stoner, who started from pole position immediately step on the gas. He led the far left Dani Pedrosa, Andrea Dovizioso and Ben Spies are fighting for second place.

Eleven laps until the race passes, Casey Stoner was able to excel above 5.8 seconds behind the opponent. At the same lap, Dovizioso managed to pass Pedrosa. And a minute later Ben Spies also managed to overtake on Pedrosa.

The position lasted only a few moments. Up to 2 laps later, on lap 13, Pedrosa managed to overtake his team-mates back to second place. While Pedrosa, Dovizioso, and Ben Spies involved overtaking action, Casey Stoner had left them up to 14 seconds in front.

That’s when Ben Spies in action. He showed that he was very understanding of the character Ricardo Tormo Circuit, Valencia. Slowly but surely, he passed Dovizioso and Pedrosa. Spies was in second position, behind Stoner.

Ben Spies continued to accelerate the bike up on lap 27 he was within 1.8 seconds of Stoner. One lap later, When Stoner slightly widened, Spies take advantage of existing loopholes to bypass the Australian rider. Spies now leads the race and will look to win both this season after the Dutch MotoGP.

However, the victory was shattered in front of the finish line. Right in the track straight ahead of the finish, Stoner accelerates his bike as fast as possible and to touch the finish line first. Stoner eventually winning with a thin edge, OR 00,015 seconds in front of  American rider, Ben Spies.
